Busty Is Beautiful

By Rebekah Vlassis

We are so excited today to announce the launch of our BLOG!
As we draw closer to the first selling season for our brand, I wanted to create a place where women can come to be refreshed, encouraged and loved.
As a curvy woman I have always had a hard time finding clothes that fit me. For years I thought if clothes didn't fit me but they fit my friends then I must be the problem. I must be fat. It wasn't until my twenties when I was at my smallest wearing a size 2 and clothes still weren't fitting me correctly. Well yes, I was a size 2 but my boobs were a full D cup.
Nearly a decade and a baby later, I am now wearing a dress size 8 and a 34DDD(F) bra. Finding clothes that fit is even harder than before. For the majority of my adult life I was convinced that clothes didn't fit me because I was fat. I was the problem. It wasn't until I realized I just have huge boobs. I am not Average, Petite or Plus Size. I am 5'4", 144 lbs, dress size 8 and a 34DDD/F. I am a Full-Bust body type.
According to The New York Times I am not alone; the most popular bra size in America is a 34DD. A 34DD by no way fits into the Average American Size Scale. I started this company to make clothes for myself. I was fed up having to settle for too-big clothes and paying an arm-and-leg for alterations and tailoring.
My goal now is to validate all busty women in an industry which has otherwise neglected and overlooked them as a whole.
Busty girls, I see you. You are not alone and you are beautiful.
As a Full-Bust brand, we plan to carve out a place in the fashion industry for busty women. And with the launch of our blog, we aim to give women like you hope through community.
